RE: Any Luck in CT?
Connected on a great bird last Friday, May 5th. Will post the story later...but he weighed in at ~25lbs, with a 10.5 inch beard and 3/4 & 13/16 inch spurs. I'm guessing he was 3 or 4, as many of the birds on this farm have very small spurs, with some genetic abnormalities...ie. a few of us have gotten mature birds off of this place with double spurs, short spurs, or no spurs at all...

RE: Any Luck in CT?
I'm going to visit my wifes family in Queens, NY this weekend. Any suggestions on great places to hunt in CT? I'm a prostaff memberand would like to hunt, but if any of you would like to be filmed shoot me a PM and we'll discuss on places so I can film and possible kill a CT longbeard. So far this year I've killed 7 in 5 different states. Take care and havea blessed week.

RE: Any Luck in CT?
I finally scored on monday the 22nd. 19 lbs. 1 inch spurs, and a 1 inch beard. This was a mature tom, probably a 2 year old. I don't know what happened to his beard, it was brown on the end and looked frayed. I'm not complaining, I hunted 9-10 mornings before I scored.
