Default Calling Turkeys

I know it is always better to be above turkeys but i was just wondering if you can call them on the same level or call them down hill. Thanks for the help.

When you are calling you have to listen to what the tom wants to hear and make sure that you are calling him don't let him call you. Down hill or up hill will seldom make a difference if you get a bird going that is looking for a hen. Patience is the key when you call if he responds immediatle you have a good chance of calling him up or down if you have patience and listen to the bird. Nothing is absolute.
