Wisconsin Hunters - Can ya give me an update?
How are the Toms gobbling from roost? Good, fair or poor?
Are the Toms henned up yet?
Are you seeing lone hens?
Are you seeing Groups of Toms? ( ya know 2 or 3)?
Your response will help me understand how I must hunt them as I have 5th and 6th sason!
Any comments wlecome!

Have herd 1 or 2 toms gobble from the roost, and been seeing a TON of toms, not even when phesants cackle, or owls hoot. Seen mostly hens by themselvs, and toms by them selvs....or 1 tom and like 6 - 8 hens. Last couple of days havnt seen squat....acting really weird this year!
GOOD LUCK

I was scouting in Wisco early part of march. Heard no gobbling saw some tracks, big ones! Had a wolf on the property so thet probably explains the silence. What part of Wisco are you hunting JW? I have 6th season in zone 18 around Wisconsin Dells

JW,
I'm hunting in unit 11. I have forth season, but have done a fair share of scouting. In my area, I've noticed a lot of gobbling in the roost, but pretty quiet when they hit ground (fairly typical). I've seen anywhere from 1-3 hens together. I've also noticed the Toms seperated. It should be pretty exciting, when it gets later like this and the hens start to nest, the Toms bite hard. The main thing I would be worried about is everything getting tall, between the fields and the leaves on the tree. Good Luck

Well. Around me there gobbling decent. Nothing to right home about.
Most are henned up around me. From what I have been seeing.
Lone Hens, Yeah quite a few lately going to lay an egg...Or sittin.
I dont hunt till the 5th & 6th Season. Taking my buddy hunting (camping trip) today later. Then its my weeks. Got a Gobbler in Wyoming last week. Gobbling like crazy. Henned up For Most part.. Exept The One I got
