That's quite the barrel ,you must be using it to cross the creek or something like that .If you weld some step's on it ,you could use it to climb into your treestand.

Possible photoshop?? I really don't see the point of a barrel that long. I mean come on, it can't be possible to walk through the woods with that thing it would snag on every tree branch in the woods. Let alone it has to be ridiculously heavy. If it were mine it would have a date with Mr. Bandsaw.

cabelas sells a 32" "metro barrel extention" i seen....maybe thats it?? it screws in your choke tube and only weighs like a pound or something like that....i forget what its for....i remember something about muzzle report was lower...and with special sub sonic loads it was WAY quieter.......dont know why youd use on for turkey hunting.....maybe better pattern....better velocity.....anyways...congrats on the turkey....

I believe you're right mauser06... the cabelas metro barrel extension is used for metropolitan areas where people hunt to "silence" the sound of the shotgun... it REALLY quiets them down. Do you know Benelli's Tom Knapp? He shoots one at his shows. It's just to keep down the public awareness of you hunting. Unless that's not what that one is... but it sure looks like one.
