Here in Pa. Most of us were born with one leg shorter than the other. The good point to this is,It makes it easier for walkin around the mt.sides.The bad point is we can only walk one direction or we keep fallin downHere where I live,We have a mixture of big woods, little wood lots and farms. Not much flat ground in my area. Each seems to take a diffrent style and stratagy,But that's what helps keep it interestin.

Wish I had access tomore of the wooded ravines where I hunt. The fields have limited potential for hiding, for you and the game

Believe me, mountains or hills will do it. Doesn't take long.... that is why you got to walk on an elevated tread mill all winter! [8D]

In WI, nice mixture of Hardwoods, swamps farm fields. In South Western Wisconsin, my favorite place to hunt, beautiful bluff country. wooded hillsides with farm fields on the tops and in the valleys. Beautiful place to hunt!

i like to hunt the BIG woods in the mountains.....my spot is an honest 30 min walk in from the truck.....then after that i usually run and gun the hills trying to strike up a hot bird....me and dad drug THREE mature deer out of that spot one year.....and did 2 on other occassions....dad shot a nice sized turkey back FARTHER one year....i felt bad for him! lol.......i grew up doing it...so im kinda used to it...it takes some getting used to....and can really tire you out...but i condition in the fall.....small game hunting the same land.....walking non stop.......at home we have smaller woodlots and some fields to hunt.......i rather hunt the big woods any day.......but with gas prices im going to have to hunt those little woodlots more....while here at school my spot up here is only 20-30 mins away....from home its an hour and 15 mins away...

WELL HERE IN OKLAHOMA WE HAVE MOUNTAINS, HILLS, VALLEYS, PLAINS, TREES, AND ROCKS. ON OUR LEASE YOU CAN GO FROM THE ROCKIES TO THE ROLLING HILLS OF NORTH DAKOTA TO THE FLAT PLAINS OF TEXAS TO THE TREES OF MISSISSIPPI. WELL ITS NOT AS THICK. BUT WE HAVE PLENTY OF ROCKS.
