I don't think that shooting a bird off the roost is ethical but it is legal here as long as it is a bearded bird and they shoot at a legal time. There is no way to teach ethics:( some people have them others don't. If they broke the law you can report them if not you have to live with that sort of thing.[:@] Had the same thing happen to me the culprits shot in the dark a good 1/2 before legal shooting time. I reported it to the MNR along with their plate # but the warden said that it was my word against theirs as to the time and he wouldn't charge them.[:@]
