Turkey Hunting Whether it's spring or fall doesn't matter to this bunch. Great tips on calling, bustin flocks, using blinds and more.

Default RE: Does the beard of a turkey grow year round?

yes they do,a small bird born this spring will have about 1/2" this fall. by spring he will have from 2,3,maybe 4". next spring he will have 7 to 8".after two to three years, they wear them off,so they don't really look to grow as much(they do but get wore off)after 10,to 11" they wear fast.
I'm no expert but I have watched a couple flocks over the last couple years, every few days. that is what I see.

I am not a hunter I am a whitetail population reduction specialest

remember keep your back to the sun, your knife sharp, and your powder dry.
