Last weekend I shot #6 X-Range out of my BPS with an Undertaker tube. Out of 2 targets, my best at 40 yd. had 36 holes in the turkey, 12 in the spine/brain. The other, I shot low, but still had 29 hits on the turkey, 4 sp/br. I'vekept evey target I've ever shot. On11x17 pieces of paper, the most holes I had was 155. Both of those X-Range targets had over 200 holes.

Out of all the shells i shot, the extended range did the best. My final combination for this season is going to be my remington 11-87, kicks gobblin thunder .665 choke, and winchester extended range 3 1/2 2 oz #6

The reason I am asking is because my 870 is driving me nuts.So far I have tried a JellyHead,Hasting 660 ported and a Hasting 675 choke tube. Shells I have shot WinSup 6 3 1/2and 5 3 1/2and some Remington heavy 3 1/2 shot...just not getting what you call a good pattern. I am going to say the best so far was with the Jelly and Win Supreme 6...I was thinking of running some 3 inch through it before I break out the wallet for the X shot...any suggestion would be appreciated from you guys..

There is about a 1000 posts on this load so far already this season and all seem to have a huuuuuge amount of positive for this load. #6 seems to be the most popular from my observations. Go buy a box and get 'er done!
