I was watching a video from the archives of K & H Spring VI. Any who one of the hunts on there was Hale and some other guy DRIVING around an area they hoped out of the truck walk maybe 20yards from the truck and setup for maybe 5-10min and walked back to the truck with a BIG gobbler...how real is that come on.

"Real" and "hunting shows" don't belong in the same sentence. I've been in or have shot video for about 6 different shows over the years. These ranged from shows on the outdoor channel to Sports Southwest, OLN etc. It has been my experience that a good 85% of the 30 min show (actually 22 min + commercials) is acting.
How often do you see a show where no matter what size of buck they kill the "hunter" acts like it's either the biggest one they've ever killed or they are "amazed" that they actually got this buck? It's acted.
Most of these shows require that the guide/outfitter supply an animal for the "hunter" and the crew. The producers of these shows have a lot of time and money tied up in these shows, not to mention all of the product placement that has to be done during the show ("boy, i'm just glad i had my Widgit 5000 along on this hunt or I might not have got that deer").
Sometimes, I've seen this twice on videos I've been a part of, you get your animal too quickly and dont have enough "filler" to make your show so you have to act part of it. A lot of this is done with stalking scenes or the sitting around the campfire scenes.
Also, notice how almost every "hunter" talks in a hushed whisper even when they just got out of a F-350 or off of their 4-wheeler?
These shows are a business. That business is to sell you something, usually with gross overstatements and product placement. Notice how many gadgets hunters swear they have to have to be a successful hunter these days? How was it even possible to hunt before we had cammo rangefinders, scent lock clothes, and a decal of a buck on our trucks?

Yeah they were "intorducing" their lonsomehen pushpin call...every shot made "man I am glad I decided to take this new call for spin, don't think he would have come in with out it" The video open with K & H, troxy, and someone else sitting on the porch argueing over what to call the push-pin...horrible acting

I believe you mean "Toxy" not "Troxy", anyway he wasn't there eitheron the porch. They are hunters not actors. Why wouldn't you push your product on a video you produce? Bad hunter's? Knight and Hale are bench marks of Turkey hunting. I enjoy their video's. Do I believe they all played out like it's taped? No. It's meant to entertain and maybe pass on some knowlegde of the sport. If someone like Harold Knight told me something about turkey hunting I would tend to listen.

1st, simple typo with Toxy,
2nd, I think you are missunderstanding me that or I am not getting accross what I am saying.."Do you understand the words that are coming out of my mouth?"
I simply meant that 99% of ALL hunting videos seem canned, and layed out by an underbudget independent film company. I listen to alot of the tips and techniques but the hunting scenes just seem silly to me...and the after comments from the kill on seem almost like comical outtakes or again underbudget advertisements..."That gobbler wouldn't have come in with out my handy dandy widget smell/sound cover sandwhich maker."
That is all I am saying not trying dog on K & H, Primos or any of the others it just seems silly is all...

I was on a video with Quaker Boy a few years back.I can tell you that its not as easy as it looks. We hunted hard for three days before I killed a bird. There was still work to do and video to shoot after the initial shot. Its not all fun and games. Its work. I respect the guys on TV and in the magazines. They're doing something I hope to be doing someday. Getting paid to hunt.
