Txrookie, AKA Greg, checking in. BTW, I'm originally from Ct.
I just got a new blackpowder double barrel 12ga. I'll be attempting to get one bird each with ML shotgun and one with my bow.
I went on my 1st turkey hunt last year and killed a jake with a .50 cal ML. I'll do my best to get a better bird this year. I'll be hunting Rios in north central Tx. Season opens April 1st and I'll be there.

New Britain, West Hartford, and Middletown in that order. My family is still there. I haven't been back in 20 yrs other than 1 short visit. Also spent 1 year in Southwick Ma.
