RE: Anybody in team #3
SO what doe's a captain do & what do team member's have to do.
How do we score our birds & when do we have them in?
Is there a deadline date?
Do we have come up with a team name?
So many questions.

Well when I ran the bowhunting contest, team capts over saw their team, kept in contact and was the go to guy for questions to the moderator running the contest, in this respect that would be Pat Ely.
Members need to check in from time to time for comradorie, updates, having fun and hopefully kill a bird to help the teams score.
You score the turkey using the system posting in the rules and here:
http://www.nwtf.org/all_about_turkeys/turkey_score.html
Read the rules for deadlines, keep checking in to see.
Yes, we should come up with a team name, that we can discuss when the rest of the team checks in.
Questions? Keep them coming.

RE: Anybody in team #3
Just checking in....We don't start until April 10th if memory serves me correctly and that is if you opt for the 1st season which is very short. Things probably won't get rolling here until at least the middle of April.
Good luck to all...

Let the games begin!! Hunting Georgia April 1-6, South Dakota 15-21, and then my home state Missouri.
From Pat's rules, I understand we can only check in one turkey. So I figure it would be best to wait to check in the biggest one. Hopefully thats okay.
Gook luck everyone on Team 3. BTW, anybody got a team name yet?

Checking in here. I will be hunting NY and PA, possibly VT as well. I won't be hunting with a gun this year though, I will only be bowhunting for them.
Rob - Now we are definately going to have to meet up for a few hunts.

Hello teammates!
I'll be starting my season Mar. 25 down on FL public land. Doubt I'll have a chance to call one in for myself as we're trying to get our boys their first osceola. But it'll be fun.
Best of luck to all this year!
If we need a team name, here's a couple to get the brainstorming going:
Wingbones
J-turds
3 1/2 inchers
