Team Cutting Edge is fine with me.

I just (politely) PMd the 4 members that haven't checked in here yet, hopefully they are all on-board and we don't end up short handed.

old longbeards - recently re-introduced Easterns up here.

I will be shotgunning most days but we can't gun hunt on sundays so I'll also get the compound and x-bow out a few times.

tschaef...since they've been recently re-introduced..what sub-species did you hunt in canada? and good luck with the bow and crossbow...hope you get a couple of toms floppin.

bullmoose...if ya do a google for dominant gobblers...you should find the place i hunt..hehehe...but really, when the season comes closer maybe we should trade e-mail addies

Recently might be an exageration because there has been a huntable population where I hunt for the last 5yrs. Turkeys were extinct in Ontario untill about 15yrs ago when the MNR and private groups started trading our captured wolves for your captured wild turkeys (easterns) for release. It has been a fantastic success story, but Ontario is so big that they are still releasing birds in new areas. I'm sure alot of farmers in the states aren't too happy about getting our wolves, but we sure do appreciate your turkeys.

still...five years ago is pretty recent....congrats to Ontario..i can only imagine what those birds will grow to be in size and weight in a few more years...Birdzilla...YIKES!

I'm is West Milwaukee, Kinda by 43rd and Lincoln! I'll be hunting up in the North Kettles. Great area hopefully not too many hunters like Gun Hinting for Deer! How Bout you?? Good Luck.
