The ol' lady smoked one out of the air today! It was fricking awsome to say the least! We were set upon this CRP field next to some willows. We had these 2 gobblers and a jake comning in real slow ( like an hour to go 200 yds) but they were coming. The Jake was out about 50 yds or so and the Toms about 75. I knew she was holding out for one of the Gobblers, when all of a sudden a Yote busted out next to us after them well up in the air they went. The Jake came right at us when all of a sudden BOOM. She completely smoked it out of the air! I asked her why she shot it, her answer " it pissed me off" and "we only have 1 day left". Im still laughing! it was a good shot tho!

NOW THAT'S COOL!!!!!! Congrats to her. Great shot, no doubt!!

Season is over for me. Today was the last day. No birds. Shoot....I never even had a close call.
