Turkey Hunting Whether it's spring or fall doesn't matter to this bunch. Great tips on calling, bustin flocks, using blinds and more.

Have you ever done a swap hunt?

Default Have you ever done a swap hunt?

I thought about trying it but decided not too. I guess I am a little leary of having someone not fullfilling his obligations. I would also feel bad if the hunter did not have a good hunt on my place. I understand nothing is guaranteed but I would still want the hunter to be successful. I know there are a lot of honest hunters out there for the swap to be successful, but there are dishonest ones too. Has anyone tried it with success or failure? A good hunt doesn't necessarily mean you have to kill something.

Default RE: Have you ever done a swap hunt?

Had one group(4) from PA come down to SC 2 years ago.
Heard more gobblers than they ever had and seen many but did not connect.
They were very happy.
I have two more coming down this spring.
I haven't taken them up on theirhunt yet.

I just expect to be put on birds.
Everything else is gravy.
