G O N, I have shot turkeys out to 30 yards with no problem useing a rem, 1100, 26" barrel & 2,3/4 loads with modified choke built into the barrel (non srew in type). Call them in close, and it really doesn't matterwhat the choke is, I'll probably get ribbed on this. Example, I know guys who have called them in real close, and missed, why, because their using an extra full turkey choke, pattern is so tight, it missed the bird. In my opinion, if their close, any standard choke will work. Ok, now it's time to get ribbed!
