Default Seat Cushions

Anyone run across a great seat cushion? The new Super Elite 3 vest I bought has one about 3" thick made of different foam combinations. Should be a good one. I'm thinking about an Avery Turkey Cushion for my girlfriend, she has a hard time staying still!

i got one of cabela's closeout vests last year that has a 3" thick cushion. i bought it for that reason. most of the vests i see have a thin cushion. the thicker the better in my opinion. also, if you've got kids with, get them a thick cushion.

I know what you mean about people that can't sit still. I try to take my nephews turkey hunting alot and they don't like sitting still very long. I have a vest that is self supporting, it has straps that go from the cushion to the back of the vest, I guess it is a redhead vest it came from bass pro. I have found that little kids(people that can't sit still) are very comfortable with this style vest, they even make just a cushion that is self supporting that way their back isn't pressed into a hard tree. You might want to give one of these cushions a try.

yep , one of the best. A 16inch tube for a utility trailer. These things are like sitting in a lazy boy chair in the woods ...BT

I usually dont need a special chair. I just sit on the ground against a tree with a cusion underneath me and that works fine

I leave the vest seats attached to help cushion my aching old back....

However - a Stearns camo boat cushion goes on ever trip. Just take an old gym bag nylon strap that has snpas on the end and attach it to the handles of the cushion.

It now will sling over your head and shoulder and goe anywhere you want it too!

You can see the cushion in this picture....

I notice a lot of the newer vests come with memory foam seat cushions. Now that gotta be comfortable. I just use my kinda flimsy vest cushion along with the HS 2 way strut seat (i think thats what its called), that works well enough for me.

I leavemy Mossy OakElite'sseatfolded upto help cushion my aching old back as well. I also usea H.S. Strut turkey seat(folding leg model), along with a thermal seat cushion to sit on. This combonation allows me to sit for hours without my tailbone getting sore!!
