I use a 1187 Rem.

My favorite call is the slate calls I make. Also I made a wing bone call that's really moving up on my list.

I think that you will find the answer to this question be whatever they have to shoot.

I bought a NEF 10ga. 24'' to take over as my primary turkey gun this year. That is if I have time to find a choke/load for it.

Right now, my primary turkey gun is a

3.5'' Browning BPS Stalker (black)
Comp-N-Choke XXX Full
3.5'' Winchester XX 2 1/4 oz # 6's

I might try the Winchester XR's if I can't spare enough money for a choke/load combo for my 10ga this spring.

Right now my favorite call is..the one I got in the mail yesterday..Copper Friction call in cocobola pot made by Pairie Game Calls. This is a very good sounding call and easy to use. My turkey gun is a .20cal. smoothbore flintlock with a load of 4's and 6's.

Rem 870 is my preferred gun when it comes to anything...let alone turkey hunting.

I also like my Primos Freak Slate call. I seem to use it more than anything else...it just sounds good to me.

I prefer glass or slate calls because i cluck alot.and my gun is a single shot 12 guage H and R,special purpose camo,turkey gun chambered upto 3 1/2 inch magnums,24 inch barrel so it swings fast.I"ve taken many osceolas with it here in fla.

H.S. Strut Diaphragm dome calls, and an 870 express. Although, anymore i mostly just use the bow unless its getting late in the season and havnt gotten anything yet.

I like my 835 Mossberg with Gobble Stopper Choke and # 4 Winchester Supreme 3.5.

My favorite call is the one he's responding to that day.:) In the previous years, that has been the Primos Power Crystal, but I have made a pretty good sounding (at least to me and buddies) boat paddle box that I hope will call them in this year. It's a mahogany box with walnut lid.
