I bought a Mossberg 835 last year and love it --I assume that's what you were shooting since it's in your list at the end of your posts.

I've had no problems in the year I've had mine, but a friend at work just had the side of the barrel blow up on his Mossberg 500. His thumb had to be reattached at the hospital.

I hope Mossberg isn't using cheap materials to cut their costs.
Hey that sounds like another post where the side blew out of a 500, I hope they arent using cheaper material or had a bad production of barrels! [&:][&o]

that and several other problems is the reason I got rid of my 835 ultra. just plain no good.lots of problems.

Well, I cant say that I have had any problems with the 835 shot all my turkeys with it, no problems.......... I do think with Mossberg maybe even other brands, either you love em or hate em, no in between[&:]
