Thanks BKB for that site , it is a interesting one.
DanOI have hunted turkeys with a dog back a few years ago in MI and had a blast with it. Canada has no Fall hunt , but it would be neet to have a dog to play with when it comes to the turkey hunting sport...BT

I own a boyking and am training her now to be a turkey dog. She already is a great upland dog and loves to be in the field. They are wonderful family dogs. She even goes to the warehouse at work everyday with me. She has busted up one flock in the off season and still needs work in the sitting still department, but we sure have a bunch of fun. The fall season here in VA starts next Monday and my Boykin, Peanut, and I will be in the woods. Have fun and be careful.

Am I correct in guessing that you can only use dogs in the fall when the turkeys are travelling in flocks? I thought that turkeys moved great distances when they heard/saw something moving towards them? Do you set up posters at one end of a bush and then drive the dogs from the other end?

BT...
I've been wanting a Boykin something bad! The link to Pam's site is a good one. I even have my wife wanting one now I've hunted under a brit while chasing turkeys only once and loved every second of it. Another person who has some good info and could point you in the right direction is on another forum where you were just paged by someone... can't remember who. Look for ACC/Boykin and can help.
