Turkey Hunting Whether it's spring or fall doesn't matter to this bunch. Great tips on calling, bustin flocks, using blinds and more.

Default NJ resident Hunting in NY

Well, only advantage NJ offers over NY and PA is season starts a week or two earlier. But I've had it with the crowded woods and limited places to hunt. NY also offers Sunday hunting which is a plus. I live in Bergen county, 5 miles west of the Geo Wash Bridge and have decided to hunt NY this year. Rockland County, Orange County (Sterling Forest?), even as far north as the Catskills. ANybody have any suggestions as to Public Land to hunt that holds gobblers and is not too heavily pressured? Ideally, a 2 hr drive from the GWB is my preference, but I am willing to travel further if needed.
