Woodsmanship or for a much betterterm, turkey hunting experience.
(You still must know how to hunt turkeys as well as call to them.)
So, by saying that, I'd go with the so-so caller with some actual turkey hunting experiencebehind his belt!!!

I would take woodsmanship and experience. I am living proof that it doesn't take a pro to call in an ole tom.
