Default Thermometer Accuracy

I wonder just how accurate the thermometers are on trail cameras? I have several Spypoint Solar Dark cameras and a couple of them had some pretty cold readings on Dec 23rd. One had -14°F at 6:10 PM and another had -22°F at 6:42 PM. I'm guessing they are susceptible to wind chill. BTW, I'm in west central PA.

I have photos but the forum won't let me upload them from my PC or anywhere else.

I've noticed that mine tend to run a little lower than actual temp.

It was certainly cold that night. I saw -3 on the cruiser dash at work that night.
