Default New 10 Point and New Lugnut Pic

Starting to see some new bucks show up. This new 10 pointer was an 8 last year and so was Lugnut. Both got new G4s for 2016.

Lugnut almost found some competition from me on Saturday, just before quitting time. Had a longish shot at him in the turnip field and blew it. Clean miss. Still can't believe what went down.

He only ran about 10 yards, milled around for a few minutes and walked off. So, I don't think I spooked him too bad. I made some grunts so we would think that the sound was another deer and not a human. Not sure if it worked but I was willing to try.

Saturday is the last day of archery. I am going to try a decoy in the turnip field to bring him in closer......if he comes to the field on Saturday.

So exciting. I'm going to buy a new trail camera to follow my hunting passion.

Looks like photobucket wants $40 a month to show my pictures anymore. I'll have to work around that one. Got some more pictures of Lugnut on June 30 and July 4. Looks like he'll have 10 points again. Same spread and more mass.
