I switched the backup batteries from rechargeable to lithium this morning to see if that improves the quality of the nighttime photos. I suspect that the solar power runs low after dark which means the backup batteries need to have more juice. We'll see if that makes any difference...

These pics were taken at a community scrape this morning. I have a stand just to the right of the scrape. Unfortunately, I was in another stand this morning but I did see this group of at least four bucks pass by me at about 60 yards about 45 minutes after these pics were taken. As you can see the temp was right at 32 degrees but no sign of a frost yet. That cam caught 108 pics of various bucks and does visiting that scrape over a 40 hour time period.
