october lull
it seems the bucks have disappeared now. was getting pics of bucks a while ago. now its all does. a few scrapes were opened earlier. ton of acorns around. it seems that if cameras are not right on top of the bucks im not getting the pics. meaning that the bucks dont seem to be moving very much. hearing the same thing from other people anybody else seeing this?

In my two areas, I haven't had any bucks for a few weeks. Also in these areas the deer population is very low. The last two years there was a lot of snow and a very late spring this year. Lost a lot of deer and with the late spring some of the does that made the winter aborted.
Normally bucks will go into hiding, separate from bachelor groups etc. As food sources change, so will the deer patterns.
