Default The burr oak and white oak are the hot ticket right now!

I had a hunch the bucks would be heading to this lone burr oak tree once again. I had good luck getting pics at this tree two years ago and this year they came in full force. Hopefully a few more good bucks show up before it's all said and done. Our bow season starts Saturday so with a North wind and a little luck just maybe I can get a crack at one! Crossing my fingers!

Good info, our season opens this weekend as well. Looks like some of those bucks just lost velvet over the past couple days.

Good luck on putting an arrow thru of those guys!

The bark is not as smooth on the burr oak. The acorns on the burr oak are kind of hairy or fuzzy on the caps. I had to look it up too to decipher.
