Why does it get over exposed in some movies and others it don't?

Is it pointed in a Easterly direction??

If possible try facing the camera in a northerly direction. Facing into the rising or setting sun can cause redness, white outs or even green vertical lines. In summer the sun travels more in an overhead direction. Later in the year the sun will travel in a lower arc. Good luck.
