Default trail camera question

Kind of a strange question but:

An animals's eyes often appear extremely bright in photos.

Why are stars in the sky not visible on the photos??

Animals eyes are reflecting the light.

When driving a road or highway at night, if there is wild life around, their eyes will show even if their body does not. Human eyes on the other hand do not reflect light.

human eyes do reflect some...hence the red eye reduction on lots of digital cameras now days...but animals eyes pick up on infrared/game camera lights the flash/strobe doesnt seem to get there attention as much but I can tell you they see it...I have many pics of deer look straight at the camera and or running away from it when it flashes lol

The Deer and Animals eyes don't "Glow" as much when You use an IR trail camera but they do a lot more when using the "White Flash" trail camera's.

My trail camera has picked up the Moon when its just right in the night sky.....I guess Stars don't show up because the trail camera's can't focus that far away or possibly the lense doesn't stay open long enough to pick up light from a Star?
