Have had an i40 for probably 4 or 5 years. About a year ago or so the screen went out, but the camera still functioned. I'm still able to use the cam but haven't changed any settings as it would be impossible. When switching to the "picture/on" setting, you need to wait a few seconds until the "if sd card installed..." message goes away to switch into "active" mode and the green light flashes.

Recently however some of the files have been corrupt, the last pull roughly only 20 of the 200 pictures were viewable. Sadly it may be about the end for the camera.

I agree with PastorJim that the color pictures are absolutely fantastic on the i40.
