i would pass them both but if i were restricted to one it would be the 8. he appears to be a 3.5 yr old with a bigger body. the other one looks to be 2.5

absolutly. you have no reason not to. he may have just damaged the antler early in the growing. he may have had an injury in the past. both of which would not be in his genes to pass on. or he may have non typical genes and if you have ever seen the way those deer can turn out given some age then you need to google it because they can get huge.

I would pass. My hunt club requires 125 or higher to shoot. both dont make 125

elmoughler 08-28-2012 05:36 AM

I'd shoot either one. I go out every year to feed my family.

Joey3377 08-29-2012 07:48 AM

I go hunting for the meat so I would take both of them.

Pass will be a lot better deer next year.

Master Chief 08-29-2012 04:41 PM

I definately wouldn't shoot the second one.

The first one, probably but my biggest was only 90"

backwoods13 08-30-2012 05:33 AM

I would pass. But it is up to you, if your happy with them take him..

i pray that you,joey3377 and CRhodes are nowhere near my land.
QDMA "let him grow so he can grow." you can always wait for a doe. there is alot more does than bucks. if you hunt for meat you should have no problem shooting doe's. to shoot small bucks and calling it meat hunting is embarrassing to your self and ignorant. please look at the buck to doe ratio in your aira and prove me wrong
