Default Reconyx PC800 Trail Camera

Belonging to another Hunting Forum, I came across this camera. Here is a link to the website: http://www.reconyx.com/hyperfire_detail.php?model=PC800
I found the following information worth while: 1)two year warranty, 2)operating temperature -40 degree Fahrenheit to +140 degree Fahrenheit, 3)IR flash range up to 70 feet, 4)uses 12 AA batteries for extended battery life up to one year, 5)has an external power port. There is more information on the website.
This camera would be ideal for cold weather when using Lithium Ultimate batteries. I was very surprised at the suggested MSRP of $549.00 and found it very reasonable.

The price is surprising. What does the "pc" stand for?

This camera is listed as: PC800 Hyper Fire Professional Semi-Covert IR on their website. It is a Professional Camera.
Going to their website one can view the different camera models and compare them, see various accessories. I downloaded the manual for this camera and found it to be the best written one I have come across, very easy to understand, good diagrams etc.
I have manuals for Wild View Ez Cam, 2009 model Bushnell Trophy Trail camera, Moultrie Game Spy D55-IR, Moultrie M100 and SpyPoint IRB. The manual for this Reconyx camera is far superior.

I would expect nothing less from Reconyx. They continually raise the bar.
