Good deal, I am definitely hoping he likes it. I got a SanDisk 4gb card with it. Do you think it's so small that he'll have problems with the buttons or no? Not positive on that part but it looks great overall. I think it should make a good present. I think I'll hide it somewhere for him to find ha.

What about a viewer? I get mixed reviews on whether or not they're worthwhile.

Well, this one has a built in viewer (remote control) so I suppose we will find out soon. If I had to guess it's gotta be better than taking the memory card home to find out. Especially when your hunting farther away from home. They make expensive little things on your phone or something to check it without taking it I think? Not sure : /

I usually swap cards in the field so I can get in & out as quick as possibly.
Keep in mind that the viewer you linked to doesn't support SDHC so if you have any of those cards it won't read those pics.
My view cost $25 at Best Buy and works fine for everything but the SDHC cards.
I rarely use it though and just wait till I get home and use the computer.

And I doubt you got any warranty with it since most eBay sellers are not authorized sellers which means "no warranty".
