It's an old cheap camera but I keep it out in the woods all winter and get to see some stuff I wouldn't see if I took the cam in like I do my more expensive ones.....

Welcome to the forums, I hope you find your time here imformative and entertaining. That's def. a nice buck for sure. As far as the D40 goes, it's a solid camera at a very good price that seems to be very reliable. Hope to see more of your pics.
