Never had a trail cam before. I just purchased a Bushnell Trail Sentry Model # 119205c . Looking at the manual it says 1 GB maximum SD card. Just wondering why i couldn't use a 2 GB card ? Thanks.

This is an early model camera. The earlier versions were limited on GB card size. The smaller GB cards are getting very hard to obtain as people are requiring larger card capacity for more video and pictures. I don't want to discourage you, but I would be exchanging it for one that would accept a minimum of 4 GB card or larger. Good luck.

When cams are spec'd to accept a certain size card and you use a larger size then you are just asking for problems if it even sees larger cards or not..

Thanks for the replys. I will get a couple 1GB cards then. Hopefully will be able to upgrade to a better cam in a few months.
