Default Question?

My father-in law saw a bear in the side yard limp off into the woods. When he went out to check on the deer feeder where he first saw the bear he found a huge rattlesnake. After he blasted the snake with snakeshot he called me to ask if rattlesnakes will bite blackbear? There should have been no other reason for the bear to have been limping.

What do you say?

We got no bears or rattlesnakes here but I would think if the bear got close enough and the snake felt threatened, it probably would bite.
