    Default Monster Buck in the swamps of SE Virginia
    My buddy got this trail photo of this velvet monster on 7/30/10. I can't believe the size of him and he's still growing. This is the third monster I have seen on camera in Chesapeake, VA in the last couple of years. I paid to go to the midwest to hunt them and they're right here in my back yard! What's even better, it the buddy that got this photo does not even hunt any more, so he's letting me go after him. I am very thankful, but I cannot figure how he could not want to go after him. This thing could be some type of Virginia record! Those G2's look to be at least 18" high, an the G3's aren't far behind. I am curious as to what he would score...
