Battery Question
Has anyone had a battery from their trail camera reverse polarity?
Recently I've had three Wild View EZ Cam trail cameras shut down. Checking the batteries for voltage using a multi meter I have found all four as this is the number of "C" batteries this camera uses are reading slightly below 1.0 volt. One battery out of each camera has a negative reading. I checked the test leads from the meter to make sure they were not put on the battery in reverse. All was as it should be. I am using rechargeable batteries and usually have good success. It may have happened before using not rechargeable batteries, but I am not sure. Those batteries would just get thrown out. I also plan to email the battery company to see if anyone has had a similiar problem. Installing another set of recharged batteries, all seemed okay. Thanks for any help.
