Default IR Camera question

This is probably a dumb question but is it possible to add an external IR Illuminators to an IR game cam like Stealthcam I540IR? Kinda like these: http://www.supercircuits.com/Infrared-Illuminators/

Yes it is possible but the only commercial system I know of is the UWAY XtendIR-I http://www.uwayoutdoors.com/XtendIR-I.php and depending on the CMOS of the cam it is being paired with, it works exceptionally well. Some models don't work so well with it: http://www.chasingame.com/forum/view...p?f=37&t=17344

Actually quite easy....it is a seperate unit and it has a 3ft cord that plugs into the bottom of it and then you place the sensor onto the face of your camera over the flash with a rubber band or double sided tape holding it in place.

If you want a longer cord then Custom1Enterprises http://custom1enterprises.com/custom...prises_003.htm makes them 12 ft long and up.
