I'm no expert, but from a quick search on google images that looks alot more like a pine marten to me than a fisher (cat). Unless of course you mean pine marten when you say fisher cat, I'm not really familiar with that term. The white belly, skinny tail and lighter brown color all make me think pine marten. Might be worth it to send that picture to your fish and game department, I know in WI they ask hunters to send in pictures they get of more rare animals, and if that is indeed a pine marten then this pic is even more special than you think. Great picture by the way!

There is no doubt in my mind that this pic is of a Pine Martin and surely is worth a thousand words.. I have only seen a few of them in the wild and do not have any pics of them at all..

Great pic. That is why trail cams are so much fun, when you go and pick them up you never know what you will find on them.

We have Fishers in our area, and from the pic, that does not appear to be a Fisher. I have to agree with the others that it may well be a Pine Martin. Fishers are usually bigger and darker thatn the animal in the pic.
