Spy-Point. These are made in Quebec, Canada and are available in different series. They can be set for photo, or video with various settings as explained in there download manual. They also are Infra-Red and have a 12 volt external port. I recently purchased two of these (IR-B series). I haven't had them very long but doing test I found the video and photo very clear. Night time is black and white. These cameras are much more susceptable to cold. Not so much actual ambient temperature, but with the wind chill factor, this really drops the temperature. The cameras are very easy to set up. Both of these cameras, when first turned on, displayed the proper time and date.
I contacted one of their staff in regards to size and type of SD card. I was told up to 16 GB card could be used. I mentioned using San Disk and Lexar. I was told there would be no problem. These I found worked as I use them in my Wildview EZ-Cam. I also tried Kodak and Verbatim. These worked, but when putting the SD card into the computer to delete, they did not completely delete. I had to reformat, then all was well.
I failed to ask if the larger SD cards he suggested were SDHC. Any card I have seen recently larger than 2GB are all SDHC. Hope this helps.
