who has a Bushnell Trophy Cam
#2
After having my first Bushnell TC a little over 8 months, my likes are:
- Small size
- Picture quality
- Battery life
- Ease of operation, SD card removal
- Trigger speed, recovery time (7 to 11 seconds) detection width.
- 2 year warranty
Dislikes:
- NO built in security
- The strap
- Detection Range
- The latches to open the camera.

I have a Scoutguard and 2 Captures.
SG pro-
5mp day pics
trigger
video
great battery life
Tiny and easy to fit into a security box.
cons
IR pics can be a bit grainy and this tends to be worse in cold weather.
Capture pro
smoking fast trigger
flash
pics look great
cons
only 3mp but still look great
no video
not the easiest to build security boxes for.
In the end I'm glad I have both cams

i have 3 scoutguard 550's (basically the same as a trophy cam) but i also was deciding between the 550 and the capture...what really got me about the capture was the 30 second delay...after every picture it HAS to wait 30 sec....that may be ok with you but not me...

Then buy Reconyx.
