Default Late October Fawn With Spots

This pic was taken on Oct 27th. Ive never seen a fawn with spots this late in the year. I guess this proves that deer breed up until late Feb or early March. Is this really odd or does it happen more than I think it does?

Rifle season opened here in NY on the 24th..... my first time out I saw the smallest spotted fawn I have ever seen. I have never ever seen one this late in the year. Seemed very odd to me too.
