Long story short. I almost lost an eye in an accident with a compound bow. As you can imagine I have a slight aversion to them now. I still love to shoot my recurve but I don't have enough time to practice to do any dammage to any whitetails. Since I live in town it is hard to find a place to easily practice. awesome buck! that would be a great deer to take with a flintlock. i think i would learn to bow hunt because i couldnt wait till gun season if i was seeing a deer like that.
