I think so.
I just looked back at my 08 pics and had the first pic of a buck shedding Aug 20th.

I'm pretty sure that buck broke off his G2 and G3's and the velvet is holding them on.
Hopefully I have some better pics of him this week as I cleaned out that opening in front of the cam when I pulled the card on Sunday..
Wish I did it last week with the amount of pics I got last week.
