What Trail Camera do You Use???
This may have been asked here before but I'm curious to see what everyone is using. I have a bunch of Moultire's, M40, M60 and I40, really like them, easy to use and have been taking great pics, I also have a couple of Leaf River, not such great luck, have had a Leaf River side by side at bear bait with M40, it had 120 pics in a week, M40, 1100 pics. Just ordered a couple of Stealth Cams, looking forward to seeing how they work and am trying to find a Cuddeback or two.
1. what Brand and Model do you use?
2. Likes and dislikes?
3. trigger speed, happy with it or getting lots of going away shots?
4. quality of pics (this should probably be first on the list)
5. Battery life
6. how do they handle cold weather (only a guy from Canada would ask that question)
If you want, post the best pic your trail camera has ever taken.
Actually now that I`ve just slagged the Leaf River I`ll post what probably one of the more interesting pics my cams have taken, great timing as the bird goes by.

The first 3 cameras I bought were the Photohunter 35mm camera. Picture quality was ok, trigger and battery were great but the film developing was ridiculous. I then bought a Moultire digital camera. Battery life is great, trigger time was ok, and picture clarity was good. I have since bought 3 Cuddebacks. Batter life and picture quality are outstanding but I am not sold on their trigger speed.

I currently Have four Wildview Xtreme 4 cams, One Wildview Xtreme 5 cam,
three Wildview VGA. cams, 3 Moultrie D-40 cams and one Cuddyback Capture flash cam.
In my opionion there is no better cam for the money than the Widlview Extreme 4 & 5 cams. Pike

I have Moultrie I-40 and a DLC Covert II.
Moultrie I-40
1. Great Pics
2. Slow trigger
3. SD Card impossible for anyone over 100lbs to remove.
4. Good battery life
Bottom line, a excellent $200 corn pile or salt lick camera. Too slow for a trail camera.
DLC Covert II
1. Decent Pics, my moultrie has a little better pic quality.
2. Fast trigger, almost too fast. I have some pics of a just a nose coming in and thats it. Narrowed the detection zone with some tape and seems perfect now.
3. Super easy to use.
4. Remote required(included) to change settings.
5. Awesome battery life.
6. Its freaking tiny! Smaller than my hand.
Bottom line, a very good $200 trail cam.

As i mentoined when i started this thread, i use the Moultrie and Leaf River, here`s a couple of pics from last year and for anyone that had nothing better to do, some slide shows, most of a Moultire over a mock scrape.

I have a reconyx RC55. I like everything about it except for the price. Its has one of the fasted trigger speeds available, you can set it to take up to 10 pictures per trigger with a several option on delay between pictures as well as delay between triggers. It has very good quality day photos and about average night photos. "Cant say Ive seen too many super good black and white infared photos." The battery life lasts for a long long time. I just checked mine after being out for a week and it took 2085 pictures and it still has like 85% battery life. I havent had a chance to test it in really cold weather yet but Im sure I will this year.

Moultrie are the best setup, & battery I have found, I just got a Cudde which I know will have good quality pics and trigger speed but the setup in regards to position was a pain. I think all cams need to step back and create a good secure setup system for their cameras.
