Done with Stealth cam
The load of BS that these cameras are giving me is increasing by the day. Today, when i checked it, i had the "summer of 09 camera curse" inside. ANTS. Millions. In the external battery and the camera. There was so many of them that i could hear them walking on the forest floor before i got there. WTH? Ive had cameras in the woods for 7 years and not a single ant ever managed to wedge itself in, i have this camera for 2 weeks and its a apartment complex. The battery was dead of course, probably the camera to. I was so ticked i just left it in the woods to deal with another day.
Managed to take 130 pictures, and only 8 of them had animals in them The rest were blanks....rediculus :computer:
Im a cuddeback man from now on
Awesome quality

Dude, I told you before, get you one of these.
Seriously though, I've never seen the problems with ants like they have been this year. Maybe the deer hired them to mess up our stuff. I will have to go along with whatisup, I have been using the weed-eater on my set-ups and it is making a difference. not near as many blanks.
Blessings.....Pastorjim

Siman, Ants SUCK. I think on most stealths they have a threaded hole so you can put it in a mount. Well thats how your ants go in there. Mine did the same. I just put a bolt in there and I haven't had any other ants in there. The stealths have good quality if the animal is still but movement just isn't their thing.
I have a moultrie, stealth, and my next will sure be a cuddeback.

If you dont want that cam I will take it off of your hands.
By the way the pics look good, and the blanks might be from all of the over growth infront of the cam.

That's a good one there now!

I have had cams out for 4 years and this is the 1st year I have gotten ants in mine. Don't know if its ruined yet or not. And mine are Moultrie. Guess no brand of camera is invincible to ants when they want in

Sorry to hear that, that does suck.. I am having some trail cam issues of my own right now, but nothing like tons of ants inside the cam.. Hope you can salvage everything.
