HELP!!!
We got our son a new Cuddeback Capture IR for Christmas. He put it out near a feeder in Feb. but had the card locked so it saved pics to internal memory. We didn't know that. Now, it has put them on a card. Not really great pics.
Now he is trying again. New batteries, new card, and in the bear box as we have several bears in the area. He has had it about 2 wks. the only pics he has gotten is one bear, the morning after setting it up, and about 8 coon pictures. None of the pics are sequencial despite having it on 30sec. intervals. He has changed the angle thinking it might be sun. The area is all matted down from bear and not one more bear pic taken. The distance is less than 30ft. The coon pics he has gotten are very close, 15ft or less.
He is very discouraged, and I am not at all impressed. Today he put my $99 Moultrie down there to see if his was missing stuff. I am sure it has.
The temps have been in the 80s daytime and 70 at night. Is it too hot for it to trigger? Any other thoughts or ideas? Who else has one and what has your experience been? Any help will be greatly appreciated. At this point he is so discouraged that if my Moultrie shows more action, I have a feeling Cuddeback will be getting thier Cudde Back!
Thanks in advance for any ideas, thoughts or help you can offer.
OH, and if it helps, all the pics but the bear were at night. The bear was broad daylight I will try to post a couple to show you just in case that helps in any way.
