Default Sun leaving black dot

Some ofthe pictures that are facing the sun have a black dot right in the middle of the sun. It happens on both my D40 and I540IR. Does it happen to yours?

This one doesn't have one though.

Yes, I had an I-40 pointed in the wrong direction this past time and I had the same exact thing every evening. If you clicked through the pics real fast, you could watch the black dot go down every evening. I'm going to be much more careful from now on.
