Default First I590 pictures

I had my (supposedly) new I590 out over my new lick while i was on vacation. When i went and checked it today there was 93 pictures on it, which got me excited. About 20 of the pics were blank, and i only got one nighttime picture on this lick (Ive noticed that 75% or so of my mineral lick pictures are during the day...weird?)

Here they are, not as good as PJ's I590 pics, and LOTS of the dreaded daytime motion blur which i hate:

The only night picture:

Color is good, with new batteries flash range is great. overall, pics look good! how far away is camera from the mineral block? this may have something to do with the motion blur you're getting. just a thought.

Caleb,

The pics you got look pretty good. I can't think of too many blured pics I got on my I-590. Just like you though, it did have more pics with nothing in them than the other three cams I had out. Might have partially been my fault due to where I placed it though. I am going today to retrieve all cards and move cams. I am going to move I-590 into dark timber, which is why I bought it in the first place, and then we will see if the performance, as far as blanks go, is any better. I must say that so far, other than the blanks, I have been satisfied and pleasently suprised by the performance of this cam. So watch for new pics. later today.

Blessings.....Pastorjim

PJ, does your I590 have a flash distance switch on it? And what do you have it set on?
