There are a few in there that are more than a year old but there are a lot of young ones. I really can't explain why all the pics are of the younger ones because I know there are older deer in the herd. For the most part I think it looks like a pretty healthy herd.

I just noticed something. On the third pic down, look at the deer that is standing at alert in the back left. Right under her neck is a leg that goes across the neck of the deer beside her and I can't figure where it comes from. Anybody else see that? I will have to look at an original resolution pic and enlarge it to see if I can see it better.

definitely a leg. I cropped it and I think you can see in this pic that it is. It must belong to the doe that looks like she is on alert. Notice that there are 4 deer in this pic so it might be from the deer that you can't see her head.
